The clients’ background, like mine, is Japanese-American and her concept was to create a marketing company that pulled the talent and resources of her colleagues….individuals’ like myself who she can custom tailor the marketing service to her clients’ needs. Like a obento box that brings together various flavors for a full and complete meal, she would create the appropriate design team that would best suit her clients palette. Her design sensibility is minimalist so I deconstructed the “bento” box to create a floral design and I mirrored the edges of the “bento” into the custom typography.
