ID | old meets new

Project | Non-Profit Branding and Identity
Client | Orange County Japanese Cultural Center [OCJCC]

The founding members of the OC Japanese Cultural Center approached me to create an identity so that they can grow their vision and secure the funding to make the OCJCC a reality. The vision for the center is to create an educational center that would provide OC youth with the insight and education from Japanese programmers and innovators that would grow them into competitive professionals in the industry. The design needed to speak to a financial community while also representing a cultural center that would appeal to a younger generation. It needed to touch upon the history, culture and heritage of Japan while also being modern in a digital era. It needed to blend the old with the new.
